Pender Harbour

The Pender Harbour Chamber of Commerce partnered with the Pender Harbour Community School this summer to operate the Visitor Information Centre and to initiate a Volunteer Centre. Funding for this project was provided by Service Canada for our Canada Summer Jobs students and by a UBCM grant to fund operations, supervisors, and trainers. As a result the Visitor Information was staffed daily from the July 1^st weekend to Labour Day weekend by summer students and volunteers.
