The Pender Harbour Community School Society is a non-profit society providing Pender Harbour and Egmont areas with a variety of lifelong learning initiatives, recreation and leisure programs, and personal development opportunities, based on the input and expressed interests of the community members it serves. The Community School also provides the Sunshine Coast Regional District’s Area A Community Recreation Delivery for Pender Harbour and Egmont.

'PUTER TUTOR WORKSHOP: DROP-IN COMPUTER SKILLS
Struggling with a computer program? Need some advice on computer operations? Want to know more about what your software can do for you? Need hands-on instructions?

Drop in or book an appointment with our computer tutor, Bo Petersen, between 10:30am-12:30pm every Wednesday at the Harbour Learning Centre (1st portable at the Madeira Park Elementary School). There is no fee for this workshop, as Bo is kindly volunteering his expertise, and computer resources are gratefully sponsored by the BC Gaming Direct Access program.

Poster Route: If you have any community news or an event you'd like to advertise on the Poster Route, submit your 1/2-page (5.5"x8") posters to the Community School office by 3:00 pm Wednesday for distribution to poster sites at the following locations: PH Secondary, Madeira Park Elementary, PH Aquatic Centre, Egmont Community Hall, John Henry's Store, Marketplace IGA, PH Community School.


To register for any of our programs outside of office hours, please download, complete and sign a registration form and mail with your cheque payable to Pender Harbour Community School.

The Community Access Program provides internet access and assistance for all community members. For a minimal cost you can come in to use the computer resources in our computer lab for a minimal charge ($2.00 per 30 minutes). Drop in during office hours or make an appointment.

Roy Dimond is hosting a Parenting Skills Swap!  Share what is working, get help with what isn't.  Join other caring parents in a casual and relaxed setting and know that you are not alone in dealing with challenging children and teenagers.
